Cold-chain shipping and peptide stability

Lyophilized peptides are more forgiving in transit than people assume. Here's what actually compromises stability — and why our 5–10 day domestic SLA matters.

A common assumption is that peptides require dry-ice shipping. The reality is more nuanced: most lyophilized peptides tolerate ambient transit for several days without measurable degradation. What matters is total exposure time and the absence of moisture.

Lyophilized vs reconstituted

Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptide is the stable form — it can handle a 5–10 business day transit window with appropriate insulation. Once reconstituted, the molecule becomes time- and temperature-sensitive: refrigerate immediately, use within ~28 days.

Our standard

Every Clarity Wellness order ships with insulated packaging and a 5–10 business day domestic SLA. Members in Asheville and members in Anchorage receive the same packaging standard — the only thing that changes is transit time.
